Maker of temperature control boxes and packaging undergoes re-branding
Active CC Boxes, a leading US manufacturer of temperature control boxes and packaging, has undergone a major rebranding, including a new name and a complete change of the leadership team.
The company will now be known as Intelligent Thermal Solutions, and their flagship Kodiak range of cold chain storage containers will be renamed EcoTherm, to more accurately describe the nature of the product.
EcoTherm containers use vacuum-insulated panels, an IntellTherm temperature regulator and proprietary Thermal Shield technology to maintain low temperatures within the packaging for up to five days while temperature-sensitive goods – such as foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals – are in transit.
Intelligent Thermal Solution’s new president and chief executive officer Richard C. Ellinger explained the reasons behind the name change: “The EcoTherm brand name reflects both the environmentally friendly nature of our containers, and their outstanding ability to hold specific temperature requirements through extended durations.
“Our customers want a greener solution than the current consumable insulated containers in the market today. They also want extended hold time and increased payload. EcoTherm containers satisfy all of these important customer needs.”
Intelligent Thermal Solutions have their headquarters in Kingsville, Texas, and have won many awards for their temperature control packaging solutions.
