Ergodyne releases alternative to simple white cotton gloves

By • on July 1, 2011

Ergodyne, a manufacturer and distributor of protective clothing and equipment, has released a new glove design which will be a cost-effective alternative to standard white cotton gloves.

Perfect for the packaging industry, the new ProFlex 9000 glove is made from a combination of cotton and nylon, which mixes the natural breathability of cotton with the comfort and durability of high-grade nylon. The new design is seamless for added comfort and dexterity, and is produced in three different sizes – medium, large and extra large.

As an added benefit, the gloves also have built-in vibration protection for industrial applications. While many gloves achieve this feature through bulky padding which can affect the wearer’s dexterity level, the Ergodyne design has built-in chloroprene rubber palm padding which gives a high degree of vibration protection a compact form.

Ergodyne’s CEO and president Tom Votel explained: “Our Proflex brand has long been synonymous with certified anti-vibration hand protection. The addition of the ProFlex 9000 lightweight AV glove provides workers with yet another option for reducing the risk of Hand/Arm Vibration Syndrome and other vibration-related issues.”

Founded in 1983, Ergodyne quickly made a name for itself as a premier producer of safety clothing and equipment for the packaging industry, and continues to provide its customers with the very best in high-quality products to this day.
