Investing in a baler for cardboard boxes

By • on June 6, 2011

Companies who find themselves having to deal with high amounts of packaging waste should consider investing in a baler for cardboard boxes.

Ed Stairman, president of A Plus Warehouse, a company which sells cardboard box bailers, explained: “Businesses that have a high quantity of cardboard waste should seriously consider investing in a cardboard baler.

“For around the same price as an eight cubic yard dumpster that is emptied once per week, you can own a cardboard box bailer that compacts 20 pounds of cardboard per cubic foot of baled material.”

As well as freeing up space and making waste removal more efficient, a cardboard bailer can also help your company to become more environmentally friendly. The baler makes it much easier for companies to recycle their used cardboard, as many recycling companies will pick up bales directly on a regular basis, and some will even pay for bales, which helps to mitigate waste costs.

The costs associated with filling and emptying skips and other cardboard waste disposal stores will add up to a significant sum over time, and so investing in a cardboard baler can pay dividends in the long run, even if the waste is not being sold for recycling.
