Biscuit company revamps gift packaging and introduces new line
Queen City Cookies, an American biscuit producer, has announced plans to add a new range of shortbread cookies to their existing biscuit range, and to redesign their current gift packaging.
The two new collections will be sold under the brand names Freida’s Delights and Pure Sass. The revamped gift packaging is to consist of 15 different gold-foiled gift cards, each of which features a unique design on the front.
Peggy Shannon, owner of the company, was inspired to introduce the new collections and the new packaging style thanks to suggestions from some of her regular customers.
She explained: “I’m delighted to offer a unique keepsake to cherish long after the cookies have been enjoyed. These exquisite cards represent the best of gift giving – incredible taste and a well-designed, beautiful product.”
The 15 different cards all tell a different story, according to Ms Shannon: “Elodie, the Duchess and Peony were named after close friends. Although I wrote the stories on the back of the cards as fanciful expressions of each cookie, in truth, each story is highly personal.”
Queen City Cookies produce homemade shortbread cookies which are inspired by antique biscuit moulds and feature intricate hand-crafted designs.
